SEWA's activities include educating the public about health, sanitation, civic behaviour, and the environment. First aid is the initial care given to someone who has suffered a small or serious disease or injury, with the goal of preserving life.
On July 7, 2022, Yash Mathur, a student pursuing a medical education in Ireland, presented the students in Grades 6 to 8 a highly instructive lecture on the need of knowing how to deliver first aid in an emergency. The session was really engaging and educational, thanks to a PowerPoint presentation with several graphics, write-ups, and an engrossing discussion. Then, as part of a SEWA project, the students were requested to make first-aid kits of their own by utilising the knowledge they attained through this workshop.
