Noor Kaur Multani

Noor Kaur Multani, of Grade 1, NPS INR participated in AARAADHANAA - National level Interschool Classical Dance competition, organized by The Heritage Foundation and represented our school in the Kathak category.

She was recognised as one of the top 20 winners at the national level for her age category, across schools. Congratulations Noor!

N Suryaansh Reddy

Congratulations to N Suryaansh Reddy of Grade 3, NPS INR on an outstanding year in golf!

His achievements highlight not only his unwavering dedication but also his exceptional skill on the golf course.

Starting with a notable victory, Suryaansh emerged as the winner in the Head Start Friendship Games held at Karnataka Golf Association.

Noteworthy is his impressive 2nd place finishes in three U.S. Kids Local Tour competitions held at KGA and Clover Greens, demonstrating his prowess and competitiveness in the sport.

Further adding to his accolades, Suryaansh achieved 2nd place at Clover Greens, an event conducted by the Indian Golf Union, South Zone. His success continued with a 3rd place finish at Zion Hills, Kolar, and at the CSK Indian Golf Union in Chennai. Lastly, he secured an impressive 3rd place at Jaya Chamaraja Wadiyar Golf Club, Mysore, in an event conducted by the South Zone IGU.

Shyra Malhotra's success

A Grade 9 student of NPS INR, Shyra Malhotra's success in the Khelo India State Level Women’s 3 on 3 Basketball Championship is a remarkable feat. Being part of the MCHS club in Bangalore and achieving the Second Runner's Up position in the under-17 age group category showcases her exceptional teamwork and dedication to basketball.

Shreya Kiran Sivadas

Shreya Kiran Sivadas, a student of Grade 11, NPS INR participated in 'The Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition' conducted by the Royal Commonwealth Society and has been awarded a Bronze Award for her submission. This achievement is particularly noteworthy, given the 34,924 entries received from around the world this year.

The competition's theme required participants to write a speech for King Charles for the opening of an international conference on the importance of young people in decision-making. Shreya's accomplishment reflects her thoughtful and insightful approach to this topic.

National Robotics competition

Delightfully, we announce the outstanding achievements of Grade 3 students of NPS INR who successfully advanced to the zonal round of the Playto IIT National Robotics competition at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore:

  • Nivedita Venkataraman (3B)
  • Nivera Reddy (3D)
  • Riyanshi Rajesh (3D)

Among 300 entries from the zone, their team secured a position among the top 68, qualifying for the zonal finals at IISc. Notably, they were the youngest team in their category, encompassing Grades 3 to 7 out of the competition's grade range of 3 to 12. The zonal round provided them with valuable exposure, fostering interactions with other students and IISc Professors.

Over the past three months, Nivedita, Nivera, and Riyanshi devoted numerous Sundays to their robot project. Consequently, they have acquired a foundational understanding of circuit design and programming. Akshat Misra Triumphs in National Karting Championship 2023’s First Round

Akshat Misra, a Grade 11 student of NPS INR, emerged victorious in the first round of the National Karting Championship 2023. The Meritus Cup, hosted by the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI), witnessed his triumph on 25 June 2023 in Bangalore. Best wishes to Akshat as he continues his quest for the coveted championship title. Go Akshat!

CLAT Results

We are delighted to share the results of Grade 12 students of NPS INR in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2024.

Vaishnavi Karthick Prasad with an All India Rank of 100 and a State Rank of 5, Sampoorno Mukherjee with an All India Rank of 116 and a State Rank of 6 and Diya Ranjith with an All India Rank of 236 and a State Rank of 14 have achieved stupendous results with their dedicated efforts! We are proud of their well-deserved accomplishments!

Aarush Rajesh of Grade 7, NPS INR, won a silver medal at the Karnataka State U15 FIDE Rated Open Chess Championship. He remained unbeaten throughout the tournament. He has been selected to represent Karnataka at the Nationals U15 later this year. Congratulations Aarush!

Congratulations to Shyra Malhotra on her outstanding achievements! She secured the second position in the Senior Category in the National-level Inter-School classical dance competition in Kathak. Abhinav Anand

Abhinav Anand, a student of Grade IV, NPS INR, has achieved the title of Karnataka State Under-9 Chess Champion. He represented Karnataka in the India National U09 Chess Championship held in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, from November 2 to November 9.

Abhinav secured 8 out of 11 points, earning him the 13th position in the India National Championship. Congratulations Abhinav!

Indian National Mathematical Olympiad

Congratulations to Aarjav Udani of Grade 9, Meenakshi Hariharan and Ritam Chakraborty of Grade 10, Aaron Dominic of Grade 11 and Akash Somasundaram of Grade 12, NPS INR who have cleared the Regional Mathematics Olympiad and have qualified for the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad.

Saanvi Thakur, Grade 9 Student, Awarded Junior Scholarship for Odissi by CCRT

Saanvi Thakur, a talented Grade 9 student, has been honoured with the prestigious junior scholarship for Odissi dance from the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT) supported by the Ministry of Culture. This remarkable achievement marks Saanvi's second recognition, having previously received the scholarship in Grade 6. Her passion for the classical dance form and exceptional skills have earned her this well-deserved accolade. Saanvi's journey as an Odissi dancer inspires aspiring artists, and her dedication promises a bright future in the world of dance.

Orissa Debating League Championship

Three students of National Public School, Indiranagar clinched the top spot in the Orissa Debating League Championship, held online on 1 April 2023. Organized by the Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar, in collaboration with the Indian Debating League, the competition witnessed the remarkable performance of three Grade 12 students: Shruti Chalapathy, Diya Ranjith, and Vaishnavi Prasad. Diya Ranjith and Vaishnavi Prasad were honoured as "Best Speaker Grade Wise," while Diya Ranjith also secured the title of "Best Speaker Finals." Congratulations to the NPS Indiranagar team for their outstanding achievements!

Isha Merchant's Novel - The Swing

Isha Merchant, a talented student from Grade 10, has recently published a captivating novel that chronicles the tale of an estranged family trapped on the wrong side of the border during India's Partition. Drawing inspiration from her own ancestors' experiences, the book has garnered international attention and achieved remarkable sales. It is a commendable achievement and a compelling read for those intrigued by a first-hand account of our country's history.

CCRT junior scholarship

Sahana Kaushik of Grade 10, National Public School Indiranagar has been awarded the prestigious CCRT junior scholarship for Carnatic music for the year 2021-2022. She is one amongst the ten recipients of this scholarship for Carnatic music from the state of Karnataka for the year.

The Center for Cultural Resource and Training (CCRT) comes under the aegis of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India and this scholarship is offered to children in the age group of 10 and 14 years to encourage children in pursuing India’s traditional art forms.

Karnataka State U09 chess champion

Abhinav Anand of Grade 4, National Public School, Indiranagar has made us proud by winning the Karnataka state U 09 chess championship. He garnered eight points from nine rounds to stay unbeaten in the championship. He will represent the state of Karnataka in the India National U09 championship which will be held later this year.
