Riya Banerjee, a Grade 9 student, has been awarded with the prestigious TOP 100 Changemakers of India by the Changemakers World Cup, organised by the 1M1B Foundation. This initiative recognises young leaders driving meaningful social impact. Her individual project earned her an invite to the 9th Annual Activate Impact Summit at the United Nations Headquarters in Geneva. She was also part of an exclusive, invite-only gathering in New Delhi, where she was celebrated along with other young changemakers. Riya received an official certificate acknowledging her contribution after a rigorous evaluation process. We are incredibly proud of Riya’s commitment to making sustainability accessible for the next generation!
Varish Mamindlapelli, a student of Grade 11 and budding shooting champion, was felicitated by the Karnataka State Rifle Association on 25 October 2025 for his outstanding performance at the 33rd All India G.V. Mavalankar Shooting Championship 2024.
His exemplary achievements at the championship include a bronze medal in the Men’s category and silver medals in the Junior Men’s, Youth Men’s and Sub Youth categories.
The felicitation ceremony was held at Yuvanika Auditorium, Bangalore, with Dr G. Parameshwara, the Hon’ble Home Minister of Karnataka, as the Chief Guest.
Nirukt Sharma, from Grade 12 of our school, presented Project Nirmoksh at the 9th 1M1B Impact Summit at the UN Office in Geneva, Switzerland. 'Nirmoksh', a Sanskrit word meaning 'Liberation through knowledge', truly encapsulates the project's mission. The project seeks to provide quality education to underprivileged children in government schools in Doddakanahalli, Bangalore, and has raised Rs. 2,00,000 with partnerships with Inner Wheel Club and Quest Global. Key objectives include appointing qualified teachers, developing libraries and labs, thereby benefiting over 1,000 students by charting a path towards quality education. Nirukt's project is a wonderful example of how teens can impact lives and create positive change! We're super proud of Nirukt for representing NPS Indiranagar on a global platform and truly reaching beyond!
National Public School, Indiranagar is proud to celebrate the achievements of Abhinav Anand of Grade 6 for his outstanding performance in chess at both the state and international levels.
Abhinav represented India at the Asian Youth Under-12 Chess Championship held in Bangkok, Thailand. As a member of the India Under-12 team, he helped secure the Team Gold Medal, competing against top young players from across Asia. In the individual category, Abhinav narrowly missed the podium as three players tied for second place with identical scores. After multiple tie-break calculations, he secured an impressive 4th place.
At the state level, Abhinav won the Karnataka State Schools Under-11 Chess Championship held on 15 and 16 November 2025 in Tumkur.
The event, organised by the Karnataka State Chess Association, witnessed the participation of 540 students from 370 schools across Karnataka. Abhinav’s excellent performance has earned him the honour of representing Karnataka at the upcoming India National Schools Under-11 Chess Championship.

Vinya Vaasuki Mamindlapelli of Grade 9 has brought pride through her remarkable achievement in the sport of fencing. She represented Karnataka at the Fencing Cadet Nationals 2025, held from 8th to 13th September 2025 in Haldwani, Uttarakhand. Competing against some of the finest young fencers from across the country, she displayed exceptional skill, strong focus, and competitive spirit.
Her performance earned her the 54th rank at the national level, a commendable accomplishment among hundreds of participants. This achievement also qualified her to compete in the prestigious Asian Cadet Cup 2025, which is scheduled to be held in Haldwani, Uttarakhand.
Vinya’s dedication, discipline, and passion for the sport stand as an inspiration to young learners and aspiring athletes, proving that consistent effort and perseverance lead to remarkable milestones.
Vihaan Ramachandra of Grade 5 participated in the finals of The Royal Music Competition, a prestigious international piano event held in Los Angeles, USA. We are extremely proud to share that he secured the Third Prize in the Junior II Category. Competing alongside talented young musicians from around the world was an enriching and memorable experience for him.
As a result of his outstanding achievement, Vihaan has also been invited to perform at the Winners’ Concert at the world-renowned Carnegie Hall in New York. We congratulate him on this remarkable accomplishment and wish him continued success in his musical journey.
Rhythm Verma of Grade 4 achieved an outstanding feat at the 2nd Brigade One-Day Rapid Chess Tournament held on 24th August 2025. Competing in the Under-9 category, he won 6 out of 7 matches, securing the highest score in his age group.

Sindhoora R of Grade 12 has won the Gold Medal at the World Robot Olympiad India – National Championship 2025 held in Hyderabad. Her outstanding performance has earned her the opportunity to compete at the World Robot Olympiad International Championship in Singapore.

We are proud to share the achievements of our talented young golfers, N. Suryaansh Reddy of Grade 5 and N. Sunvisha Reddy of Grade 3, who secured 3rd place in their respective categories at the South Zone Golf Tournament held at Zion Hills this year.

We are proud to celebrate the exceptional work of our student, Sachi Kaur of Grade 12 B, who is the India Lead for the Netherlands-based Neurodiversity Foundation. After successfully launching the Foundation’s India Chapter in 2024, she spearheaded the Neuro Inclusive Politician award this year, recognising policymakers championing neurodivergent rights. The inaugural award was presented to Smt. Maneka Gandhi, honouring her role in establishing the National Trust for Welfare of Persons with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities in 2000, at a widely attended ceremony in New Delhi. Sachi led the initiative end to end, including outreach, research, logistics, and media coordination. The event received coverage from 14 prominent media outlets including MSN News and The Print.
