Karnataka Rajyotsava also known as Karnataka Formation Day, is celebrated on November 1st every year.

Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated at NPS Indiranagar on 27 November 2019. The celebration was witnessed by our students who presented a colourful programme.

The event began with a brief speech from a student of Grade 3 on the genesis of the state of Karnataka and the stalwarts who made it happen. Various districts of Karnataka were depicted by the students of Grade 1, who wore the traditional attire with vibrant colours. Famous personalities of Karnataka were showcased by the students of grade 2 who enacted as the Karnataka Mathe, Onake Obavva, Sir M. Visvesvaraya, Krishnadevaraya, Kannada novelist and poet Kuvempu, Kittur Rani Chennamma, Anna Basavanna and Akka Mahadevi. The students sang 'Apaara Keerthi Galisi Mereva Bhavya Naadidu' and a medley of other songs. They also danced to the rhythms of the song 'Huttidare Kannada naadalli huttabeku'. In a mellifluous tune, the students rendered the 'Nada Geethe'(State Anthem) with great enthusiasm, glorifying the culture and heritage of the state.
