The workshop aimed to provide Kindergarten 1 and Montessori 1 parents with clarity on how phonics works in the classroom. Parents were familiarised with the learning journey their children undertake, leading to joyful reading and writing. By participating in the same activities their children experience in class, parents gained a deeper understanding of the phonics approach through meaningful, hands-on learning experiences.
