Independence Day was a day of great excitement at the Montessori school. The children spent time learning about their country, studying everything from the national flag to interesting facts about India.
On the day of the celebration, the school was filled with the colours of the Indian flag as the children came dressed in tricolour outfits and traditional Indian wear. After sharing tricoloured snacks, they worked together to create an Indian flag using their handprints. They also made crafts inspired by India's national symbols—the peacock, lotus, tiger, mango, and banyan tree—before ending the day by singing patriotic songs.
