On 6 September 2024, Montessori students celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with great fervour. Dressed to the nines in ethnic wear, they recited a shloka and watched a beautiful didactic story about Ganesha’s devotion towards his parents. A quiz about it followed which got the freshers highly enthusiastic about answering.
Sundal is a snack traditionally made during this festival. On the festival day, the children brought the traditional sundal in their snack box and enjoyed a community feast.
The children returned home richer culturally, in anticipation of celebrating the festival the next day with their family.
