Makar Sankranti was celebrated with great enthusiasm at National Public School, Indiranagar. In the Montessori section, children exchanged Yellu Bella with neighbouring classes, participated in games, and enjoyed colouring and craft activities while learning about the festival’s values of sharing and togetherness. Dressed in colourful traditional attire, the young learners created a vibrant festive atmosphere.

The school assembly highlighted harvest festivals celebrated across India. A student of Grade 7, Vidur Prakash played the role of a student vlogger and explored the traditions of Pongal, Lohri, Bihu, and Uttarayan by interacting with students dressed in regional costumes. Energetic dance performances to songs in different Indian languages added to the festive spirit, making the celebration a joyful cultural experience for everyone.
