Our Kindergarten students enjoyed a delightful and enriching visit to Picket Fence Farm, where learning came alive through real-life experiences in nature.
The children were excited to see a wide variety of farm animals and birds up close. They observed animals such as sheep, donkeys, desi cows, turtles, iguanas, and birds including turkey birds, emus, and ducks. The highlight of the visit was feeding some of the gentle animals like the sheep, donkeys, and desi cows, which filled the children with joy and wonder while nurturing kindness and empathy towards animals.
Adding to the excitement, the students took part in a pottery-making activity, where they enthusiastically shaped beautiful clay pots.
The visit to Picket Fence Farm was a perfect blend of fun, learning, and creativity. It offered our young learners an opportunity to explore nature, observe animals closely, and create something special to take home—making it a truly memorable day for all.
