The NPS Indiranagar campus has finally come alive with the commencement of in-person classes for the academic year 2022-23, after two long years of online and hybrid classes. After days of enthusiastic campaign speeches and sloganeering, statistical and perception analysis, permutations and combinations that led to the best guesses on who will be part of the Student Council 2022-23, the much-awaited Investiture Ceremony 2022 was celebrated on 17 June 2022.

On the solemn occasion of Investiture 2022, 82 new office bearers prepared themselves to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school. Our Mentor Principal, Ms Shantha Chandran, and our Principal, Ms Shweta Pathak Chand, congratulated and felicitated the new Student Council and new office bearers.

The newly elected representatives of the Student Council were conferred with sashes and flags. The swearing-in followed amidst thunderous applause from students, parents, teachers and alumni. The newly elected School Prefect, Keshav Malik Kapoor, and Vice Prefect, Enan Ramachandran, administered the oath. In his speech, Keshav urged students to enjoy the small things in life, be active in school and appreciate those around them.

A scintillating performance by our talented group of dancers and a melodious musical performance by our talented singers of Grades 11 and 12 added colour to the day’s events. May the new Student Council take humility, dedication and service as their motto for their tenure.
