This year the students of NPS Indiranagar celebrated Hindi Divas with great vigour and enthusiasm. The celebrations started off with a speech on the importance and growing influence of Hindi, as a language, across the globe. Few budding students of classes 5 and 6 recited beautiful and famous Hindi poems with expression and clear pronunciation. This was followed by few songs and a skit which spoke about the accuracy in the Hindi script in a humorous way. The day's celebrations came to an end with a folk dance from Rajasthan and Gujarat and the national pledge taken by the audience in Hindi. The event was a success and helped spread knowledge and information on Hindi and its importance.
