From 9th to 12th October, the Humanities students of grades 11 and 12 attended an educational tour to Hampi, Karnataka.
The tour began with a visit to the Sasivekalu Ganesha Temple. After a short bus ride, the students were fortunate to visit the largest monolithic Linga in Hampi. They also paid a brief visit to the nearby Narasimha Temple. Later in the day, the group visited the Virupaksha Temple and the Queen’s Bath, where everyone enjoyed taking photographs.
The most special part of the tour was the visit to the famous Vittala Temple, where the students saw the iconic stone chariot. Over the course of the trip, they also visited the Hazara Rama Temple, the Lotus Mahal, and several other historical sites.
The tour was a highly educational experience and helped strengthen friendships among juniors and seniors. The students were very grateful for the opportunity to visit such a renowned historical place.
