National Public School, Indiranagar had organised an orientation programme for the parents of the newly admitted students of Grades 1 to 8 in the month of June. The objective of the event was to get the parents acquainted with the school culture, curriculum, code of conduct, safety measures and encouraging parental participation in monitoring the performance and progress of their ward. Parents were briefed about the various subjects, assessment criteria, and co-scholastic activities which will help in the overall development of their child. Some activities and quizzes were also organised for the parents to promote parent involvement. The event concluded with the Principal’s address followed by which parents were given an opportunity to have their queries answered.
