Valediction Ceremony 2022-2023
The class of 2022-2023 graduates were greeted at National Public School, Indiranagar for their Valediction Ceremony on 17 January 2023, when the lovely winter sun was at its peak. The ceremony got underway with a prayer hymn and the national pledge led by the school prefect, Keshav Malik Kapoor.
The outgoing student council office-bearers handed over the reins to their vice-prefects and vice captains, who will serve in those capacities until the new officers are elected. The grade 11 students took over the celebration with their dance and music performances and put on a good show for their seniors, filling the air with nostalgia, joy and a tinge of sadness. The senior English instructors, Ms. Kajal Nanjappa and Ms. Ann Mary Thomas, gave the students a heartfelt address in which they wished them well in their future endeavours and gave them advice on how to live their life sincerely, joyfully, and generously.
Announcement of the best outgoing students as voted by the school's faculty were made. Abhishek Girish from the Science stream and Sidak Singh from the Commerce stream were voted as the finest outgoing students of the academic year 2022-23. They were awarded these titles for their outstanding behaviour toward their classmates, faculty, and support personnel in addition to their academic and cultural accomplishments.
The school prefect's rather amusing, yet insightfully brilliant address, in which he spoke about his chance entrance at NPS Indiranagar years ago and all the memories he has ever made, brought the ceremonial valediction celebration to a close. The Grade 11 students then hosted an informal celebration in the auditorium that included activities and many performances dedicated to the outgoing graduates. With just a touch of melancholy, the laughter and giggles filled the hall. Finally, there was a touching and poignant video that included all of their teachers' blessings and advice, wishing them strength for their upcoming journey through life.
