They are inferred the title ‘Grand’parents' for the very reason that they are GRAND in the true meaning of the word. The very special persons in the lives of the Kindergarteners of National Public School, Indiranagar came together on a virtual platform on Saturday, 18 September 2021. The beloved grandparents of the little ones were able to join from different locations and what a surprise we all were in for!! Beginning from their ease in handling the virtual meet, to their introductions, which followed with an array of creative expressions through songs, poems, slokas, stories, dance and more, to their infinite energy and sportsman spirit in playing the challenging organized indoor games, to their heartwarming expression of gratitude to the teachers for making the day special for them, to the endless blessings they left back while bidding goodbye, were all the perfect package of a fun filled, memorable day for all! They were a live example of the saying ‘Age is just a number!’ It was a wonderful opportunity for the grandparents to be a part of their grandchildren’s school day, meet their teachers, see them play, hear them sing and more. And likewise, the grandchildren too cheered their grandparents all the way as they played games with the ‘Never give up’ attitude! A day etched in our memories, we bid farewell to each other with the hope to meet soon some day.
