Children’s Day is an occasion for us at National Public School, Indiranagar, to celebrate our students, who teach us to be happy and to be curious. Children’s Day 2021 was celebrated with great vigour amidst the ongoing hybrid classes. The teachers of NPS INR put together an array of events to make the day extra special for the children. The programme commenced with the command, school prayer and the pledge to the nation by the teachers as part of the morning assembly. Our principal, Dr. Shantha Chandran, greeting the students on the occasion of children’s day, shared her hope to meet them all at school very soon as offline classes start in phases. A fun game titled ‘Guess the Voice’ engaged the students where they had to guess the teachers based on their voice alone. The students were enthralled by the various music and dance performances by their beloved teachers. The celebrations concluded with a virtual tour of the campus that brought back fond memories of precious times with friends, competitions and medals, and the good old school days on campus.
