Investiture 2021

The Investiture ceremony is one of most important events in NPS Indiranagar’s school calendar. It takes the school one step closer to achieving its vision of moulding socially responsible leaders. The academic year 2021 has commenced as yet another year of e-learning; still, the virtual investiture ceremony held on 26 June 2021 had all the solemnity that goes with it.

The newly elected representatives of the Student Council were conferred with sashes and flags. The swearing in followed amidst thunderous virtual applause from students, parents and teachers. Our Vice Chairperson, Dr. Bindu Hari, congratulated the 68 office bearers and facilitators to the associations and urged them to rise above themselves and also help others to do the same.

Our Principal, Ms. Shantha Chandran, congratulated members of the new student council and said she placed her trust and hope in them. She reminded them that leadership is all about influencing others through loyalty, simplicity, self-control, integrity, humility, tact and excellent communication skills. Our Vice Principal, Ms. Shweta Pathak Chand, observed that, even on a virtual platform, the myriad of emotions that the investiture ceremony inspires remains the same.

The outgoing School Prefect, Nanda Rajiv, advised the new council to look at every challenge as an opportunity. The newly sworn in School Prefect, Vishnu Ram Sampathkumar, pointed out that it is each and every student and teacher who makes NPS Indiranagar special. The pandemic and online classes have helped us realise that we need to stay together and be supportive of each other. That’s how we can thrive, make a difference and make our school proud.
