Graduation Ceremony - 2018

National Public School, Indiranagar celebrated its Graduation ceremony for the batch of 2018 comprising of 124 students on 19 January 2018. The programme commenced with a ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. The illustrious Chief Guest of the day, Mr Randeep D, Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of Mysuru District, advised the young students to never lose perspective and reassured them that barriers are at most times a result of a mental block. He urged them to look at the positive side of every experience and also to work hard to pursue happiness. Dr. K.P. Gopalkrishna, Chairman and Founder Principal, congratulated the young graduands and was extremely confident that they would be successful in every endeavour they undertake. He also reiterated that school education, family ties and our culture is what set Indians apart.

Three graduands, Gayathri P Pillai, Nidhusha Eknath Kannan and Aditya V Sreenivasan, reminisced of their journey at NPS. The evening was also enlivened by a mesmerising rendition of a fusion of Carnatic, Irish and Scottish music compiled by the Late Muthuswamy Drikshidhar and performed by ‘Samah’, a group comprising of a few of the graduating students.

The solemn evening drew to a close with the candle lighting ceremony followed by an inspirational song and the national anthem.
