GROUP PRESENTATION FOR PARENTS
NPS has been committed to preparing students for the 21st Century. With this commitment, the students of Class 6 at NPS, Indiranagar are participating in a hands-on business experience called the Young Entrepreneurs Programme (YEP). The YEP curriculum uses a comprehensive approach to learning that takes the students through the entire process of starting a small business.
Keeping this in mind, the parents of the Class 6 students were invited on Saturday, 19th September 2015, to witness the presentations of their children putting forward their business plans. There were a total of twenty groups across the four sections and each group made a presentation outlining their business plan, planning process for production, projected profits and their marketing strategy to their parents, who were the potential investors. They fielded the queries put forward by their parents regarding their business propositions with aplomb. The business plans were presented convincingly enough for the parents to invest in their venture. The young entrepreneurs assured their investors of returning the loans and declared their honourable intention of donating the profits to a charitable cause.
The parents were then invited to participate in the YEP Market Day to witness and patronize the final outcome of these business ventures by the young enterprising entrepreneurs.
