On 2 February 2024, National Public School, Indiranagar held their valediction for the graduating batch of 2023-24. The emotional and bittersweet day commenced with an inspiring speech by our Mentor Principal, Ms Shantha Chandran followed by the traditional handing over of the flags from the Captains to the Vice Captains signifying their responsibility of leading the school until the forthcoming elections of the new academic year. Awards were then presented to the best overall students across all three streams as well as the House Cup and Discipline Cup which the Challengers and Pioneers respectively, emerged victorious, after months of hard work and dedication. Vidisha Dewan from the Science Stream, Gayathri Balasubrahmanyam from the Commerce Stream and Diya Ranjith from the Humanities Stream were voted as the finest outgoing students of the academic year 2023-24.

The formal part of the assembly concluded with a sentimental speech given by our Prefect, Diya Ranjith, followed by the students of Grade 11 who then took over to entertain and celebrate the batch of 2024 by taking them on a trip down memory lane.

The students of Grade 11 then hosted a special show just for their seniors to truly show how much they will miss them once they leave. Filled with dances, talk shows, goodbye videos, cheering, and some tears, the celebration ended with the entire batch of Grade 11 singing the emotional and nostalgic song ‘Give Me Some Sunshine’ for their seniors. The bond between the two grades was lovingly conveyed through the efforts put in by the students to make this day memorable for them.
