Tarang is one of the regular events held at National Public School Indiranagar, which emphasizes on bringing forward the latent artistic talents of the students. This belief was wholly revalidated by the students of grades 1 to 5. The theme was the cycle of seasons. Nature keeps changing in a continuous succession of seasons, each with its own charm and beauty. These seasons were brought to life by the students of 1 to 5 using various media like drama, dance, music and a parade. On the second day of Tarang the show was put up by the seniors and the message given by the students from grades 6 to 11 was PEACE.
It was an extraordinary saga of peace to conquer hearts, not lands, to win, not wars, but a tribute to friendship, kindness, tolerance and restraint. The students relived the history from Greek to Rome to Mexico to Japan in almost real life costume and wonderful props; it was truly as if history came alive on stage. The land of Vedas, Buddha and diversities, India was depicted as the land where peace prevails no matter what we Indians go through. The programme started with a prayer to Lord Ganesh followed by invocation dance performed by grades 10 and 11.
Many dignitaries along with parents who enjoyed and appreciated their ward’s dedication and talent made TARANG an event to be remembered for years to come.
